The United States Air Force makes sure that every airman and their families is well cared for in terms of medical treatments. These benefits are often extended to the outside communities. This is especially true when the communities the Air Force is operating in are in communities outside of the United States. It is a matter of doing what is right for the citizens of the world which is one of the main missions of the US Air Force.

Protecting Others

Part of what you will be doing as a public health apprentice in the US Air Force is to make sure that the people of the world will have the protection that they need from disease. This includes offering immunization shots and mosquito nets to prevent the spread of malaria. The drugs you will use will be created for use in these kinds of communities and will be a part of the humanitarian efforts of the US military.
